The top part of your monstrossa will callous over nicely in a few weeks. The piece that broke off shoud be disinfected with one part blech to seven parts water and allowed to air dry in the shade for five or six days before planting. You should also spray the open wound on the top of the main trunk to prevent bacteria from setting in. The Cactus Doctor
