Hi, I'm not familiar with cactus coming from the east coast... The perimeter of my house is lined with prickly pear cactus...since it has gotten so hot I have noticed that many of them are turning yellow and wilting...then schriveling up and falling to the ground...Is this a water problem? Do they need more water? In addition, the century cactus are doing the same...their strong leaf forms are curling in on themselves... Any thoughts on this? Thanks... Susan

They are on the irrigation drip system...about 40 minutes once a day...but I had been hosing them off lately because of mealy bugs...the white things ...so do you think they were watered too much? Thanks...
