you told me to cut off piece from bottom of plant. I let it dry and just pushed down into the soil. You didn't tell me if I needed to use anything before it goes in the dirt. when and how will i know if it has roots? I'm excited to see the transformation. Can you tell me where the new spouts will show first?

Thank you for walking me through this

You need to disifect the cutting with alcohol and allow it to air dry for three or four days before planting it into the soil. You will know the plant is taking root when you begin to see new growth at the top. I did not understand your last question.
