i just dug up a 3 1/2 foot aloe, when i pulled it up it unfolded like an umbrella. now i have a tall center plant and about 15 separate little plants which i had to cut roots to detach all the way.

i may be in more shock than the plant right now. it's getting dark and i think i have to leave it till tomorrow to go furtheri don't know what i'm doing but i want to save them. i think i'll wet some towels and cover them up till you get back to me.

please guide me through this, i hope its not to late.
it's hard for me to get to a store but heres what i have on hand : potting soil, pumice,perlite,B1 liquid, rooting powder, cactus liquid food.

thank you, i'll keep checking to see if you get back tonite. if need be you can also e-mail me to get on this site for answers

Aloes are very easy to root out. Plant the pups in a 50%potting soil to 50% perlite mixtyre and they should root out in a couple of months. You don't need any of the other things you mentioned.
